The Silly Seahorses dove into the third week of camp with a splash! All through the week campers learned a lot about swimming in instructional swim and put those skills to the test in extremely fun free swims! Monday, we had the flying squirrel where campers got the chance to soar high in the trees and have so much fun! We also had circus arts where we laughed along at silly jokes and learned how to balance peacock feathers on our fingertips! We also had ceramics where campers made pinch pots cradled by a clay model of their hand which we then painted pretty colors. Tuesday we shot hoops in basketball and learned cool new dance moves in Zumba. We also made collages in arts and crafts with foam stickers which was so exciting! Wednesday was Wacky Wednesday and we had a carnival that was so much fun! Campers got to go on rides and play games in booths, getting to snack on yummy cotton candy, snow cones, and popcorn! Thursday we had Lacrosse, which was new for many of the campers but they all did a fantastic job! We also had cooking, in which we made delicious fruit tarts, and music with Nelson, where we sang songs and played drums, tambourines, sticks, and maracas. We finished the week with Shabbat, where we danced and sang to some of the songs we learned in music with Nelson as well as others. We’re super excited to dive into our fourth week of camp next week. Make sure to get plenty of rest over the weekend!
