After a short break, the Silly Seahorses came back with full energy to camp to enjoy more fun and interesting activities. On Monday, the Silly Seahorses started the day with active fun station, where the whole group got to play the game “Keep Away”. After swim and enjoying delicious macaroni and cheese with broccoli, the Silly Seahorses headed to play soccer. The Silly Seahorses were able to score three goals!!! In ceramics, the Silly Seahorses made their own swans and got to learn technique of “scratch to attach.”  We also enjoyed some obstacle courses at Pop Fit Kids. On Tuesday, the Silly Seahorses had tennis, followed by nature where we went on an adventure to discover our campgrounds and learn about different trees and insects that live in them. Yoga was so much fun because everyone was able to enjoy it and demonstrate their own yoga poses. We all left camp with excitement for Fourth of July and couldn’t wait to be back for more fun activities! On Thursday, the Silly Seahorses started with basketball, and our group learned and practiced their dribbling skills. Next stop on out journey was Jewelry Making! Yay! We got to make our own necklaces and come up with stories behind them. Jewish music was very entertaining because we got to play a game, learn some songs for Shabbat and get to play some drums. After free swim and delicious snack, we went for another swim because it was our first late night of the summer. After swim we had a rotation of activities where we got to make our own oceans, participate in a scavenger hunt to find our missing counselor, and play games such as Undersea Baseball!   We then had a delicious dinner with our dear friends on the Unit 1 field and a fun bus ride home. On Friday, we enjoyed a whole-camp Shabbat where the Silly Seahorses enjoyed some music, challah, and grape juice! We all left camp with excitement to be back on Monday to enjoy and try more activities!
